PADI RESCUE COURSES WITH OXYGENE SURREY
Fairly confident with your own diving abilities? How about helping another diver in trouble either on the surface or underwater? Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken.
This course will give you the skills and knowledge to handle and recognise diver stress. You will have the confidence to handle a diver in a panic situation underwater and on the surface. You will learn how to manage a diving emergency. You will also cover in water rescue breathing protocol and different ways to exit the water with a diver whos in trouble. Through a combination of academic, pool and open water sessions the Instructor will lead you through the core skills and give you hints and tips to be confident in any diving situation.

A typical schedule is one Saturday of theory and pool sessions, followed by a day in Open Water to complete the course. The theory part takes place here in our classroom at the dive centre.
